Hey R2R this will be my second build thread (my first is my reefer 350 that I haven’t updated in a forever) I’ve been in the hobby for 15 plus years at this point and have had everything from large predator dominated tanks to small nano reefs. I was trying to keep it down to only one tank in the house but with the recent addition of a Bella goby I had to create a special tank for my high end shrooms. With that being said I chose to go with a nuvo 25 lagoon with the aps stand. Hopefully this will be big enough to accommodate anything I have and will acquire over the next few years but still be small enough that when we move next year it won’t be a hassle to break down. Luckily I had a friend who owed me a little $ and had a barely used radion xr 15 pro gen 3 laying around his house so that will be what I’m using for lighting.

For the filtration I plan on keeping it pretty simple. I’m going to replace the filter socks with the Intank filter floss holders and probably buy their media racks to run chemipure and purigen and weekly water changes.

For the rockscape I went with the same rock I did in my larger tank, Haitian plate rock. Here’s some pictures of the “finished” scape.

Dr tims one and only was placed in the tank yesterday so hopefully the tank will be cycled within a week or so. I’ll update more once I start to move some of the shrooms over.
Oh and here’s the whole reason this tank exists, the Bella goby

The goby will be staying in my main tank. All of my shrooms will be moving over to the new lagoon. The goby moves so much sand daily that I currently have to dig them out every evening.

Did you have any issues building the stand? Mine was all out of square and have been trying to contact IM to see if they can replace it or send me correctly fitted parts.
