Gen 1 Radions

So I'm setting up a 180. I was planning on upgrading two gen 1 radions to go with the used gen 3 I just bought but echotech haven't been doing the upgrades and I can't wait any longer. I've been out of the hobby for a while. Are the Gen 1 lights still worth using or should I go in a different direction?

Have you called Ecotech with regards to the upgrades? They have the Gen 1 to Gen 3 upgrade listed on their site http://store.ecotechmarine.com/store/radion/upgrades

Unfortunately they are currently listed as "unavailable" and have been for quite some time. I emailed them but never heard back.

You may try giving them a call, it's not hard for an email to get kicked out or overlooked.
