so the par seems to be not what i expected from these lights i have 2* over a 48" tank i am using ab+ 100% intensity i was kinda expecting 350 par where its 260 par does this mean i wont be able to keep acropora as they need 300-500+ par

Are they the XR30 Gen 6 blues or pros?

Reason for the ask is blues are a lot less par output.

If they are the pros, what percent white are they at? The place you pull a lot of par is from the whites and to m,e that looks very blue.

Pros cool white 24% warm white 24% oh so turning up the whites will increase par i thought it was the other way around blues was all the par ill try this 2morrow bud thanks

The pro led scheme is not meant to be run with ab+. The blues are ab+ at max intensity. You will need to use the white leds for more par.
I personally think the broader spectrum (whiter) lighting is better for Acropora (honestly none of my corals hate the white light). I run my lights very white for 6 hours a day and shift towards blue in late evenings when I’m looking at tank after kids are down to see fluorescence in “rainbow” type corals.

i have turned both the whites to 56% will see par 2morrow my ramp up + ramp down is very blue then 6 hours white now anyways haha

do you have the xr30 pro? if so what do you have your whites % on?
I went with the xr30 blues. I only run them at 20-25% intensity with green, white and red down to zero. My par is at 350-400 for a 36in tank. I do not use a diffuser though. If you are, that's giving you spread at the cost of par.
