Good morning. Anyone decorate for Halloween? I'm feeling a little sad. Only 5 houses in the entire neighborhood decorated. I get it. Trunk or Treat is safer and much cheaper to not buy candy to hand out, but geez.

Not many do it around us. There is a large event downtown where they block off the streets and businesses hand out candy and there are bounce houses and activities for kids. It’s nice, but I do miss the old small town neighborhood trick or treating we did growing up.

I sometimes sorta miss the seasons, my first winter down here in FL was a trip! I remember one time specifically hanging out at a Starbucks, they were playing Christmas music of course,
I went to get up/leave and walking towards the door I subconsciously started bracing myself for the blast of cold air I was conditioned to expect.
Nope 80° and sunny.

Morning all. Got a furnace guy coming this morning for regular maintenance. The furnace in in the attic in my teen daughters room, so first I gotta go clear a path so he can get in.

I love the seasons too, but winter is way too long especially the older I get.

I decorate a bit inside the house, and I have a Halloween doormat but nothing else. We have two houses that really do it up scary in our neighborhood and the rest are "Fall" decorations instead. Wreaths on the doors, pumpkins on the steps, etc. I grew 3 pumpkins this year and they all rotted before I picked them, they were supposed to be for my steps and to bake goodies with so I'm pouting. :rolleyes:
