Good morning! Yesterday I hurt myself by spring cleaning (brought on by “I know I have a suction cup for this heater somewhere”) so today will be taken quite easily. I discovered issues with my computer yesterday so today I may have to mess with that because I’ve got artwork to do and need it for my reference shots I plan to use. Won’t take much to pull it out and clean the innards hopefully fixing that.

don’t mess with suction cups!!!

Good Morning all...got my scheduled appt with Apex support later on today. Sent me two bad probes with my new ApexEL Monitor, but after sending them all the data (several times), they still want a phone call...sigh. I know they have to and why...but c'mon. The temp hasn't moved from 20.6F ever and it doesn't calibrate (since my tank isn't a big block of ice, I'm assuming it's the probe) and my pH didn't move or calibrate either...swapped in a old PinPoint pH probe, worked like a champ. Ah well, hey at least they've been emailing me and are responsive, so hopefully this is resolved today (and they put two new probes in the mail). :)

isn’t it kind of shocking that this was connected to my aquarium, not my toilet? :)

On that note, have a nice morning

Good morning! Yesterday was a bummer, one of my clowns died :( Not really sure why, but he definitely wasn't eating for a bit. He had been acting weird since my water clarity issues started(algae/cloudy) - basically wouldn't move away from the mounting bracket for the light. The other clown is just fine and all the other fish are as well. On a positive note I was able to find what was left of him pretty quick so there wasn't a NH3 spike. Did a WC, changed the filter socks, and added a fresh bag of carbon in the sump. Kinda surprised about the loss since I did a full QT with copper, GC, TTM, observation, etc.

Good morning
Jeanna was accepted at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary medicine. That is where she wants to go. One of her scholarships will transfer.

I hope she doesn't spontaneously combust from the excitement.

That’s fantastic! Congratulations to her - I’m sure you’re proud!
