Good morning! What a beautiful weekend, 60's both days :cool:

Got some new additions for the aquarium, and some more on the way this week :D

I solved the mystery of why the last two ruby red dragonets jumped from our tank.. Apparently our clowns are murderous psycopaths.. We added a cute little kupang damsel on Friday, and then during our family Zoom session Saturday morning they decided to kill the poor thing right there in front of us. Apparently they've decided to become jerks to anything new added to the tank :mad: I was able to move the little guy over to my nano pretty quick, but they had done too much damage already :(

In more exciting news my wife surprised me by saying I should " stop screwing around" and get the big tank she knows I want so we can have the fish on our wish list ;Woot So now I'm day dreaming of a 200g'ish sized tank lol. The only catch is she said FOWLR only. As long as she gets her dogface puffer I'm in the clear lol.

They have a 180 just the tank for 980 Fortwyane indiana at pet warehouse.

So sorry about the fish. :( Yes, clowns can be monsters. Same thing happened to my new Kole tang, but I managed to save him (barely). Clown has been in my BioCube ever since (along with his partner-in-crime, the equally evil 3-stripe damsel). The only reason I forgive the clown is I've had him for going on 13 years now. The evil duo are doing fine in the BioCube (which was fishless), so they just may stay there!

Good Morning My Friends.
Should be a beautiful day here today also.
I figure I’ll give the neighbors till about 8:00 before I get outside and start making noise with the power tools. I plan on getting my platform built and the linoleum laid down today.
My Fireworks Cloves are finally opened up. They sure are tiny though. They were WYSIWYG but it appears that TSA might have photographed them through a microscope LOL.
So, to all my Italian/ Sicilian friends out there, I got my order of genuine New York style sausage delivered yesterday.
I get a little sentimental sometimes about growing up on “Lawn Gisland”
( That’s the New York accent right three) and start missing the things that were available to me, especially foods, when I was growing up.
One of the things I miss the most is the Italian sausage. The thin style that comes in a coil with cheese and parsley. I order 10lbs at a time, twice a year from Vincent’s Meat Market in Brooklyn and have it overnighted. Had some last night with peppers and onions. DROOL!

Good Morning!

Wife and I are off soon for Pfizer #2 so pretty psyched about that. Yeah, friends have been mentioning the 1-2 day side effects but major improvements on the psychology & social side. I will take that trade!

Spent 1 hour Saturday installing new 3 stage DI and swapping out all the 4 stage filters. Super smooth. Since then, changed out a seemingly defective drinking water filter. For some reason last week, the (not old) filter slowed to a trickle. I fussed with it for a while (valve body, spigot, line check etc) before ordering new filters. Slap new one in. Same problem.

So now, not only do my fish eat better than me, they drink better too. Can't make this stuff up.

Good Morning! going FW fishing in a little bit. I once thought about a freshwater tank made up with Ohio creek animals but worried about disease. Most fish have white bumps on their fins, ICH?, and i don't think you are allowed to have game fish, well i just found out that that is not true but i would need a chiller and they poop a lot so my filter would need more attention. i guess i will stick to what i have. Have a great day doing what you love with those you love. that is my plan.

My friend in college caught a small mouth bass in the wolf River and put it in a tank. It ate everything that went in there including 5 red belly piranhas.

Within the past couple of years, Florida made it legal to keep Bass in a tank (with several stipulations). Getting food for a bass is a hobby in itself. I learned this from a friend.

They are some of the most viscious fish in my opinion.
