Got the new greenhouse ordered. Should be here on Saturday. I think we’ll like this one better. It has a green powder coat finish. It’ll match the roof on the barn, roof on the house and the window shutters.

Good morning. Little sleepy but not that bad. Looks like today’s going to be rainy. Looking forward to payday tomorrow. Probably going to be irresponsible and use most of it to get the last few things I need for my build. Then it’s going to be “clean up this room so the tank can be moved over here” time.

Good morning. Well my snails did not arrive yet! Fed Ex says they made it from Oklahoma to Indianapolis at 7:03 am yesterday with delivery by 12 noon, at 2:36 says shipment delayed beyond our control. Shipment pending, no delivery date available. what the heck. I live in an Indy suburb. Indy city line is literally 1/4 a mile from my house!! Shipper says he has 3 other shipments with mine and all are stuck in Indy.

Rainy and dreary here but going to be warm today. Looks like my greenhouse kit is “out for delivery” but I don’t see how that could be possible. Seems too soon!
Had a late night last night. Angela’s flight was delayed out of St Louis due to weather. I always wait up for her when she’s scheduled to get home late.
If the greenhouse does show up today, there is going to be a convoy of delivery trucks here today.
Greenhouse kit = UPS
Chewy= FedEx
A few other things being delivered by Amazon

Good Morning. This Saturday is a year since my best friend of 50 years died of Covid.
His wife just got permission to have a Veteran and Police service at Calverton National Cemetery near my house where he is buried which I found out is the largest Veteran Cemetery in the US. (I always thought it was Arlington. )
His wife, who is my other best friend had this made out of wood for the service. I think it is a fitting tribute.

I lost a good friend who was a Deputy Sheriff almost 3 years ago. He was killed in the line of duty. It made national news when Dan was killed ( Sgt. Daniel Scott Baker, Dickson County Tennessee, Sheriffs Dept.)
We first met on a search and rescue which turned into a search and recovery for a missing 5 year old Autistic boy here in our county. He has never been found. His parents are currently on trial for his murder.
When I was building my truck, I decided to make it a theme build to support Law Enforcement In memory of my friend.
There is “Thin Blue Line” throughout including custom painted F-150 badges, custom striping, etc.

I have a tremendous need to make snarky comments lately. I have managed to stop myself so far. Posts about a bad day at work or I am feeling down. Really?
I have a cornucopia full of reality I could blast out. But I know it isn't their fault. Some of us have just been lucky to have a more challenging set of experiences in life.
How about you got stuffed in a tube in the fetal position for a half an hour to find if it's cancer. While stuffed in the tube in a really uncomfortable position you are supposed to hold still but you have Parkinson's too. My booty shakes itself. And in the back of my mind is the fact my brother had the same test and was told he was cancer free. Six months before he died from stage 4 cancer.
50 years in the hobby. OO they finally figured out how many cubes of food to feed. Amazing. Tell us more.
How many for these guys. I dont want them to starve.
My tanks have gone a bit bohemian while I deal with some other things. The animals are fine. Actually I kind of like it.
I do need to clean the glass good though. I dropped the light back down and the glass is going heavy dirty every 5 days.
Those of you that think you are a tough nut to crack. I will tell you the universe has nutcrackers of infinite size available to use if it chooses to do so.
