Good Morning!

I Love Riff Raff
Did you know that the actor, Richard O'Brien, who played Riff Raff was actually the creator / writer of the Rocky Horror musical stage production? He co-wrote the screenplay for the movie with the director, Jim Sharman. Tim Curry wound up in the original play because he lived up the road from a gym where O'Brien was trying to recruit a muscle man who could sing to play Rocky. Amazing how a chance meeting could change pop culture forever.
Sorry ... I went all Cliff Claven on Rocky Horror ... that was life in my college days.

Who's a spoiled Boy? Yes you are, Yes you are!!

he’s my rescued pit Rusty. Came in as a stray with evidence of being a bait dog. And he is so gentle and sweet that coming home to him makes dealing with humanity at work ok

Good morning
Quiet time. Did my exercises. Time for coffee.

Yesterday I made chicken nuggets and fries for 11 people using a copycat Chick-fil-a recipe
First time I can remember everyone ate the same thing at a meal from the pregnant one to the little ones to my picky wife.

Much success.

Who cooks. The old shaky guy.

Good Morning Friends and Fishy Fam

The son in law just got a job offer - double the pay. Looks like they will be working on that grandbaby next year now.
This is a career that I have groomed amentored him in since he was a lost kid grieving the passing of his mother. To see him have this success just warms my heart, he worked incredibly hard to get there.

It also tells me with certainty that I do not want the job that I have on the table. I'd take less money for more responsibility and to mentor the next generation. My priorities are not what they used to be. Time to step off of the podium and shine that light on someone else. For now, I am going to stay put.

New DT is looking good so far. Looks like most everything survived the jump. The only casualties appears to be my torch (sorry @Wen) and Chernobyl - Sleeper Goby. The torch lost one head the first night - no sign of it returning yesterday, the other is struggling - not sure why as all of the other corals bounced back quickly. I guess it's just not "euphyllian" it.
Chernobyl has not been seen since right after it went into the tank. He was also on the thin side, which does not add up given how he would go after food. Hoping that he is just hiding ... but he has not come out for food. Otherwise, everybody is alive and zoas are thriving. Going to prep the other tank to QT that bubble coral this weekend.

Headed to the hospitals to visit two old (but young) friends. Everybody stay healthy. Hugs your kids and stay safe over the weekend. God bless....

Good morning,

I am so tech inept, apologies.

Just catching up here, @CMMorgan congratulations for your son-in-law’s job offer and the peace you have in your career decision.
I’m sorry about your torch loss. Struggling with that colony recently, idk why. The other torches are doing great. If it regains health, I’ll give you another next time I’m north.

Hope everyone has a lovely 4th of July wkend! Taking friends on the boat to watch fireworks and grill brats.

I just couldn’t let that go.
Please edit your post. That isn't the place for that.
Perhaps a flowery sympathy picture instead.
Apparently the world needs more sympathy

I just couldn’t let that go.
That's how they turn you into one of them.
They drag you into an argument
Arguments are a form of arbitration.
Someone wants to harm your cat. You say no. They get a lawyer and you end up in court and arbitration is invoked.
It is declared they get to harm your cat, but only once a month. They wanted to do it every day.
Big win. You got mostly what you wanted. Stop being a sore winner.

Notice that once in court it was decided cat harming is okay, all you got to argue about was how often it happens.
and then 6 months later they drag you into court again for further arbitration.

Why are you trying to deny this person the accepted practice of cat harming. They wish to harm the cat every day
It is decided they can harm your cat once a week. A fair and just decision.
Big win. You got mostly what you wanted. Stop being a sore winner.
and then 6 months later they drag you into court aga.....

This is how our society works now. It scares the heck out of me.

Look at the flowers!
Thanks @WVNed

It’s still there.

I was just looking at the news where a homeless guy on the beach got beat up in broad daylight with people walking by who didn’t help him. How can you watch someone be hurt and not take a stand?

That’s why I posted in defense of the lady who lost her mom...
