Come on down here. We could just sit on my back deck, drink coffee (or whatever your drink of choice is) and wait for some “meat” to walk by. That’s the way I do it. Haven’t been up in a tree stand in years! :p

Good morning! 17 here. We got a few more inches of snow again. The town did a good job of cleaning the snow yesterday. Only about 6 inches left of snow on the roads. It’s about to get stupid busy with slednecks around here for a couple of weeks. Work might be annoying. I have a hard time with drunks, especially the young ones that are out this year. I just hope and pray I can keep my sobriety. 5 weeks to go and I’ll have 3 years. Have a great day and stay safe! And warm.

Three years sobriety is awesome. I lost count of the years but it’s somewhere around 19 or 20 for me. I do drink coffee by the gallon though! Gotta have a vice, I guess.

I have an old freezer that I have to defrost. The winter is great because I just put my frozen items outside. Last time my food was frozen better by being left outside, It was 15 below zero at the time.

Cats hate me but even I could not leave Dinky Nightmare out in the cold. He was sent to you for a reason. Clearly some guardian angel knew he'd find shelter and survival in your care. God bless you for caring for those placed in your path. Who knows, he may become your new mascot. Hopefully, he doesn't like fish. LOLJill had a rotator cuff tear repaired. The same thing you are having done. She did 6 weeks in the sling and them PT.
Last night we got a visitor on our front porch. It was very cold out. It followed Jill when she got home from work from the car to the porch and then layed on the porch crying. It has been out for a while. It was very hungry and thirsty. When it is 20 all water is frozen.
Having another cat is a whew, nope nope. Oh hell.
It is very nice but loud. It let's you pick it up and isn't afraid of the dogs.
But I know it's chances if I take it to the shelter. We posted on the Facebook lost pets page and I found one ad for a lost cat and called them but no reply yet. It was from October of last year though I am pretty sure it is this cat.

The name on the add was Nightmare. Not confidence inspiring.

Congrats on the sobriety. It's one day at a time and every day is a choice and a victory. Noone gets to the top of the mountain without tripping on a few rocks.... just keep climbing.

Looks like I need to put a battery in the ATV. Had to pull start it again today. It’s a 2017 that we bought new and only has about 5 hours run time on it. I trickle charged it last week but was dead again this morning. I try to start all my machines once a week in the winter and let them warm up.

Happy Friday!! Work is done...what a week! Other than major fish drama, things are relatively quiet around here. Postop vet check Monday for the pup, but she's doing great otherwise. We're very thankful. ;Joyful
Thinking of you all with surgery, vaccine stress, animal rescues, and everything else. They just opened up over 70 here for vaccines yesterday and of course the spots were gone in no time. I'm not quite there yet, but hopefully I will have a spot by March/April. Meanwhile, I keep doing what I've been doing for the last year. It's definitely getting old, but I hope I will have my chance before grand #6 arrives in May!

Good Morning Everyone!
Warm and cloudy now, rail this afternoon and then snow tonight. Crazy Tennessee weather!
We are meeting with the breeder this morning @10:00 to pick up the baby opossum. The nursery cage is all set up.
Ill post up some pictures later today.

Good morning!
14 degrees here with more snow coming this evening. We have had a pretty mild winter so far so I can't complain. It is usually in the minus 0 this time of year.
Husband has agreed to help me get some things done on my tanks today since I'm not totally capable on my own right now.
