nothing like stepping out of the bathroom , half asleep, and stepping on something warm, smelly, and goopy. Oh the joys of having a puppy lol love him to pieces but he is certainly a handful sometimes



Looking forward to this Friday as my new reef gear should start arriving. Went to my favorite LFS yesterday to get some more food for the clowns. Pretty excited to see all the new coral and fish they’re getting in. Never thought I’d see a bellus angel in person there. And many more fairy wrasse. Makes me all the more excited for my build, as I likely won’t have to rely on online ordering for fish nearly as much as I originally expected.

oh that too. Just couldn’t help but laugh like a fool in public and get stared at by strangers when I first saw this one. Both because I’m a Tolkien fiend and because I do deal with anxiety haha

Which salt mix do you use for bacon? is it worthwhile to use TM?, what was i thinking ,of course, with bacon go with the best!

Hey everyone! Crazy weather here today - Not a big deal for here in Florida, but the clouds clearly didn't check the calendar - the rainy season doesn't start until June 1st.

It’s been cold and rainy here in north-central Indiana as well. Went from almost 80 all week last week to pouring rain in the mid 40s. Oh well, that’s Indiana for ya lol

• 3lb skinless, boneless pork belly
• 3 tablespoons kosher salt
• 1/3 cup white sugar
• 2 tablespoons pepper
• 2 teaspoons paprika
• 1 teaspoon pink curing salt (aka Prague Powder #1)
• apple or maple wood chunks/chips
