Happy Friday! Less than a month to go for the big move. It's getting down to crunch time now. On one hand I'm really apprehensive about moving tanks between the houses, on the other hand if it all goes way south in a bad way it'll be the start of a brand new setup :p Assuming my wife doesn't strangle me over it lol

Good Morning! Going off for the weekend, i hope to use the opportunity to test out a camping hammock for backpacking. if i can sleep comfortably it would reduce the weight considerably from tent sleeping.

Yesterday I went to a Podiatrist. Contrary to popular opinion, Podiatrists know almost nothing about pods :(
The nurse came in and stuck my feet in a bucket of something that smelled like Prizapro.
I said, I realize my birthday is on Christmas, but you don't have to wash my feet.
So while I was there he took some X Rays of my feet which are old and I wore them out standing up arguing to people about quarantine,
reverse undergravel filters and home made rock.
Nancy Sinatra once said "These boots were made for walking", Just not this long. The guy wants me to take it easy and rest the feet.
He thinks I should, go to therapy and watch reality shows on TV.
That can't happen so I told him to shoot me.
I mean shoot me with cortisone.
He said it probably wouldn't do anything but he said OK anyway.
He said lay back and this may hurt.
I closed my eyes and then after a few seconds of bliss I screamed "JESUS MARY and JOSEPHINE"
What the heck was that?
That shot really hurt.
Then I realized he didn't give it to me yet, he just dropped a home made bowling ball on my foot that he wanted advice on as to if he should put it in his tank or not or if it would change the pH. :oops:

Once again I am watching the sunrise and waiting for my daughter's track meet to begin. We had to leave at 4:30, so I've already been through 2 cups of coffee. Have a great Saturday!
By the way, does anybody know how to adjust the size of a picture when you post it from your phone? I'm guessing this displays as a full-screen picture.

negotiations between my current employer and the contract company i may be with after Oct 1 are not going well.
apparently something called the billing rate is too high.
i was asked to consider a different contract company. (lesser benefits/higher cost to me)
possibility of me being an unemployed duck hunter for nine weeks are growing.
off to check the lotto numbers.
and to work.
have a fab day everyone. :cool:

Good morning everyone. No fish drama yesterday. After a year I finally had 1 day I could just enjoy the tank in peace.
I am pretty sure my copperband is now ruler of the tank. Also, hardly larger than my female clown fish. I think my malenarus wrasse has been eating up my collonista snails. Their population has gone down :( Hopefully they are thriving in the sump.
Coffee time, breakfast soon. I wish everyone a blessed saturday morning :)

Good morning! I’m on central time for a few days, so it’s still morning. We made it to the beach. It’s cloudy/rainy, but it’s the beach so we’re just happy to be here. Nothing like being exhausted after traveling and waking up at 12:30 a.m. to discover that the fire alarm works. Nothing like evacuating from the 14th floor in your PJs to stand in the parking lot with lots of other folks in their PJs. Four fire trucks later, the culprit electrical panel was found.
I guess all of my walking has paid off because at 2:00 when we were “released,” there was a stampede for the 2 elevators, so we took the stairs. Nothing like trying to go back to sleep after the adrenaline rush from climbing up 14 flights of stairs. So far, vacation has been exhausting! Rest day today with lots of college football. Have a great day! ;Joyful

Good morning. Got all my tank maintenance done yesterday. Making a new screen top today. Old ones are just a tad short and if not in just the right spot one corner keeps falling in. Tired of dealing with it for a couple years now and making new one.
On a side note, Italian Greyhounds and cats don’t go very well. Had to confine kitty to the basement, which didn’t make him happy. Doggy has been a regular monthly client for a year now, but sadly will not be able to take her anymore. Just have to deal with it until Tuesday morning when they pick her up. Coffee is ready now so have a great day.
