Good Morning!

Good idea. My husband may like that. I don't really like alcohol. ;Vomit
Says it can be made with nonalcoholic beer.

I am recreating something Jill gets at a local restaurant as an appetizer.

2nd try is rising right now.

You'll get it. I find a stiffer dough works better for pretzels. If it's too light and fluffy, it gets soggy in the water and wont bake right.

Y'all send me some pretzels! Babies were both diagnosed with "it," but they're doing fine so far. Little boy is acting like his usual maniac self. I hope he stays that way. Baby is also doing fine so far with just a runny nose. Son is feeling much better now.

Yes I modified the recipe a bit. I will also make 12 instead of 8
Now to get more soda ash from the fish room. I tried 3 minutes cold. This time 30 seconds hot but not boiling.

Reading "NEWS" (not)
A port official in Florida on Friday cautioned that the supply chain crunch currently affecting prices and inventory nationwide will continue until next year, when Americans can still expect to pay higher prices for basic goods where they can find them.

Consider that every item sitting on a ship waiting to be unloaded is making money due to inflation.
It was made to sell at price point A but will now sell for price point A+++.

Good morning everybody! I'm told today is a shopping day. ...I'm told to think of it as a practice run for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, etc. ...I tried to convince them it was National Thrift Shop Day. ...It's not and they didn't believe it anyway ...So we're going shopping.

Good morning! The kids are "partially" moved out. The movers showed up at 7:15 yesterday evening....they were supposed to be here at 2:00. Nice. I'm hoping (dreaming) that by the time we get back next Wednesday, the rest of their junk will be moved. Yeah, right. At least they spent the night in their very own house last night! :D

Have a great Saturday! ;Joyful

Went shopping
Found the glass tops for the 55 gallon tank so the new light doesn't fail like the old one and got some powered milk for the ciabatta recipe.
I got the cheese for the beer cheese dip. More experimentation about to occur. First on the beer maybe. Jill went to see her dad and wont be back until tomorrow.

This morning I walked through a creepy forest.

The road turned into these tire ruts

Then it became this

Deeper and deeper into the creepy road I walked.

There were so many birds in the trees that it was deafening. I felt like it was Alfred Hitchcocks "The Birds" movie. (Google it)

You can see them on top of the tree, but the trees were saturated with them.

Luckily, I made it back without a Ghoul eating me. o_O
