That's what I'm talking about! Would match perrrrfect!
Glad your wife is doing better.

Great looking photos and the tank looks outstanding.
I really like the colors of the Geo tank

Crabby,
Thanks for your thoughts regarding Angelia.

Welp,
Pulled the trigger on the @geo tank, but it will take a couple of weeks for them to build it.

(lol)
Bought the 4 liter bottle of the (Alka-T) reagent too. You mix one part of reagent to 4 parts of RD/DI.
Should last about 18 months.

I need to make sure.... This is an ATO/Dosing container, right? This isn't Geo building you a new acrylic aquarium, right?

Yep,
The GEO (orange / smokey gray) 5 gallon ATO container for the Alka-T's reagent.

Going to try a 3 gallon reagent mix and hope it stays fresh.

(lol)
If it changes (breaks down) over time I can use the Alka-T's Baseline Calibration... :D

That's what I thought!

I hope this works out for you. I can tell you that automatic alk monitoring has been a huge quality of life improvement for me. I use the GHL model but with it controlling my dosing I only pull out test kits on weekends. Reefkeeping made easier. I'm at the point where the only thing I do during the week is change filter socks and feed. Well... as long as I don't slack off too much on the weekends when I do the rest of my testing and refill containers.

@Fudsey do u remember the name?
@Raege did u see the set up?

Was fancy. Cant for the life of me remember the name. Shoulda stopped and inquired.

Brew,
Thanks for the support.
Have not tried out the BlueTooth plug for the cal reactor's feed pump, but I'm starting to have faith.

The last test was at 2pm at 9.27 / Next test at 8pm

Just tested with the Hanna at 5:15 pm / 9.3

I've been tuning the cal reactor back in (I knocked it out of wack). This is the last 24 hours.

Over the past week we let the alk has slip to 8.3 and both tests (Alka-T, Hanna) have stayed in-tune. During the first 9 days the largest difference between the Alkatronic and the Hanna has been .11 dkh and it could have been a testing error on my part with the Hanna.

Wonderful, isn't it!?!?!

My consumption has been all over the board lately but using automatic dosing control has really helped me keep it in a more acceptable band.

Yeah,
It's great.

I noticed something at first (testing every two hours), your alk consumption can "slightly" vary from day to day.
Have you seen the same thing with your reef?

Yes but consumption is mostly in line with ph about two hours off from it’s hits rock bottom till two hours after it’s highest high

No need to test for calcium or mag 2 times a day either which is always nice

Yeah,
Good point!!

We do open our windows a lot.
Getting the Co2 out sure plays a factor in higher ph which relates to alk and cal intake too.

I only test cal and mag every two weeks and bump up cal once a month by 20 ppm.
