Hopefully it was only a little Frontline. Interceptor is a common QT med.

I got paranoid, both for the tank + my health and purchased Iodine wash off Amazon. I use it before + after putting my hands/arms in the tank.

It's a good ritual to keep me from spontaneously putting my hands in the tank to fix a frag.

I'm just logging in and out real fast. Work is busy ;Dead

I just looked at the Kitchen calendar and I used Frontline Plus on the dogs (for the first time this year) Wednesday night.
I did not wash my hands after the application, and I got wet (in the sump) from pulling the filter sock so I could rinse it in the sink.

The nems. went downhill after that...

Both dogs are getting an bath today, in case the Frontline is airborne.

Freddie

Ouch, fingers crossed, do you have poly filter you can put in?

I don't believe Frontline and Interceptor use the same active ingredients.

Dupe!!!
Is sure dang right

Anyways...
There is some tissue lose on the green sps under the Setosa
Colored in the orange circle.

As you can see the BTA has shrunken up, but it looks better than it did yesterday.

The Sherman (around back) looks some what better too, but it has moved.

Really not sure  and we'll play it out, slowly.
I'd hate to over react and strip out all the nutrients.

It's not like a water change would do harm. And running carbon or polyfilter with a extra feeding if worried about nutrients to be safe would be my approach

Micheal,
I still got the carbon going and may pick up some polyfilter tomorrow.
Like you said one water change could not hurt and the fresh saltwater is ready to go.

(lol)
Over time I've turned into an heavy feeder and thanks for your advise.

Last night I changed browsers from Chrome to the brand new Firefox with the Disconnect add on.
My surfing is great!!!

:)

Do you have any shrimp? If it's the frontline they should be affected as well..

Maybe try some Nexgard, goes in the dog, instead of on the dog. Made my life easier, haha.

@alanbetiger, did any corals get mad when you frontlined the tank?
No shrimp, but all other inverts are all good.

(lol)
Last year we didn't use Frontline and might change products.
The girls did give both dogs a bath and I play with the French Bulldog, all the time.

:)

All's going well on my end Freddie. the aefw is dead, corals are growing even on the sandbed.. And my rock is cycling. It'll be nice having a new scape.
Rakie,
I'll head to your build ASAP :)

If Alan sees this any time soon, he may chime in. I just remember his cleaner shrimp died pretty much instantly. Fipronil, the active ingredient, interferes with the central nervous system of invertebrates.
Here's a link with some information on degradation in water and effects on aquatic life. http://npic.orst.edu/factsheets/archive/fiptech.html#env

Update time... ;Wacky

Well,
We lost the Sherman BTA and the Rainbow is still trying to hang in there.
Did the weekly water change last night and we'll see if that helps the last bta.

During the water change, we raked the GSP's away from the "Vader", but it was an easy job and I can pull that one rock out.

We have used up 100 gallons of the 300 gallons worth of the IO salt mix. Cal reactor is staying in tune with the IO, but I do dose up the cal from 420 to 440.

The blasto has some polyp healing, but we have an ways to go.

The Wilsoni is starting to puff out and just keeping an eye on that coral too.

We stopped the Red Sea colors a few weeks ago.

Wanted to try out the KZ "Trace Element Complex" (Non ZEOvit)

https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/korallen-zucht-trace-element-complex-500-ml.html
It has great reviews and started to dose it on Thursday evening.

Otherwise the S-400 is humming along and the bubble algae never came back after the Vibrant.

Hope all are having a nice weekend thanks for all your input.

(lol)
After the Frontline debacle ;Blackeye maybe , the S-400 is parasite free... :D

:)

How is the regal in a reef? Heavy nipper
Well,
I feed heavy.

It likes to eat zoa's and it popped the Wilsoni pretty good when I first put in that coral
It has laid off the Wilsoni (for now), but I think, We'd be pushing it, to add anything like an Scoly or Trachy.
It does not pop Lobo's.

Could care less about the zoa's... :D

Other than that, no problems.

@SPR1968

Looks red sea
Your close, she came from the Maldives.

I bought her from Brain at Reefwise (WYSIWYG) in Chicago.
He did an great job with her.

I'd been waiting on a small juvi Regal for along time and all the sudden, Brain popped her up after he QT'd her.

@HolisticBear and myself saw a small juvi like her, pop up on Diver Den and it was gone (ASAP)
