As Daniel said we have been troubleshooting and we think we found the issue. No one should be experiencing these problems right now and that's why this thread is sooooo important!

PLEASE POST HERE IF THE SITE GOES DOWN FOR YOU....FROM THIS MOMENT ON.....12/22/23 @1:57p est.

I just experienced about a 2 minute period where the site wouldn't load... Hope this feedback helps.

Very strange. I've never seen this error message. I have noticed it's gone a little slower loading tho !

LoL - clearly none of you were RC users back in the day… The size of the site and customizations pushed vBulletin and rather robust hardware far past reasonable design limits. The number of searches per minute would bring the forum to its knees.

The speed here even on a bad day is a dream.

Happened again to me just now - lasted ~2 minutes with a couple minutes of slow loading both before and after.

I am not seeing any issues currently but It is sometimes hard to differentiate between actual server/host issues and issues upstream from the server (Somewhere between you and the server). There were certainly some issues last week.

“you can’t get there from here right now” is not as common as it used to be, but still happens. Regional route issues, ISP specific route issues, backbone issues and host issues all get conflated into one.

Also, these types of threads spawn ”I’m having issues too” responses due to conflating any speed issue with the original, but fixed host problem.

Not saying that is happening here, but just something to keep in mind until R2R confirms the issue has been fixed (I thought they did above).

I have owned and operated and IT company for over 2 decades… and mange many dozens of servers, routing resources, hosted services, etc. all day every day.
