Hate the media baskets for Nuvo Mini 38 - replacement suggestions?

Although I love my Nuvo Mini 38, the media baskets are crapola. Any recommendations for replacements?

I just browsed inTank's stuff, but I didn't see anything for the 38 gallon model. You should visit their site and see if they can do something custom for you. Their work always looked well built to me.

While there are no other media baskets available (that we're aware of) for the Nuvo aquariums, some customers have reported that they have removed certain stages or even the entire media basket to fit skimmers or other gear in the media chamber.

What about the media basked didn't you like?

The baskets have a panel that slides off, but once you get it off it's almost impossible to put back on. It's also made of thin, cheap plastic that breaks really easily. I did pull out the existing media and on one of the baskets I have Chaetomorpha in the upper two boxes and Purigen in the bottom. On the other side I have filter floss and Chemi-Pure Elite. I don't know if that's overkill, but a friend who has had tanks for years suggested the setup. I may end up doing a little DIY project to get something better in place.
