Hi everyone i have a 5 foot tank so the only thing i know is that i need 2 fixtures.Im having trouble deceiding what fixtures to use, heres the final 2 its come down to.

Reefkoi 200w evolution fixture 192 1w bulbs (run at ,78w the fixture lights run at about 150w)
The dimensions being 27in long is nice because 2 fixtures is 54 in long covering almost the whole tank

Reef filtrations 150w fixture 119 3w bulbs driven to 1.26w(the added intensity of these bulbs is a huge selling point)the dimensions of the fixture is 16in long,2 fixtures will coverhalf of my 60in tank,is shading going to be a issue

The two fixtures are basically the same wattage only the reef filtrations 3w bulbs are the major difference, any help would be appreciated,i love both fixtures, its a tough one

I would very honeslty go w/ reefiltration. I have dealt w/ Luke before he is very good on customer service. His lights penetrate better and they would have the good spread I would guess at around 10 in. high. The other also look very nice honestly. I would go with reeffiltration.

Heres what is sticking in my head lets say i have one fixture with 2-250w halides and t5's to total 800w or 2 4oow halides, you know the 400w halides are stronger and more intense, but the other fixture adds up in watts, but you know your not getting the intensity

I have two tanks both have halides. One has two 150 watt with t5s and the other one has one 400 watt and t5s . The color is better with less watts butt the growth is better with more. I would check on the replacement bulbs prices. I had 130 watt pc but cost alot to replace t5s cheaper and last longer. OH my 400 watt is on a shorter time

Either one is gonna work for your needs... Lukes might not cover the whole tank but raised up high enough off the water you will get plenty of spread.... On the other hand kois will work down lower and give you good penetration since it's close to the water... It's almost a catch22 man...:( tough call.. I would prolly roll with what's cheaper if it was me lol....
