Same here, this has been happening to me for a while now. When I try to post a photo, sometimes if there's more than one, the first few let me, and when it happens I have to start from the beginning.

It happened again now lol

Chrome on Windows 11 and chrome on android 16, every time I try to upload a photo, GIF works fine, only photos fail for me.

I’m on my phone. Tried through website and app but when I click the image button on tool bar it does nothing. Entire tool bar isn’t working for me. I’ve had to click attach files in order to load photos. Been this way for 2 weeks or more.

I have consistently had issues with the app loading photos, and normally jump to the web app sometimes I have issues there as well. Google Pixel.

Windows 11 laptop, Vivaldi Browser. The issue only started for me yesterday. Never had an issue before.

Forgot to add it started yesterday and is continuous. Loads the preview image, works for a seconds trying to upload, then puts up the OOPS ran into a problem... banner and deletes the preview. I tried multiple jpegs same issue.

I can see the videos when someone upload them like that, I have a Galaxy S21

I had no issues untill early this morning but the issue is still there. Im using chrome on android.
I can select an image and the blue bar will go to 100%

Then the bar disappears but the option to selected thumbnail or full image never appears and I get this

What's really strange is i can load those screenshots above but if I select an image taken with the camera that is when the issue occurs.

The first two images above are screenshots that i can attach. The one below is screen shot but it shows the one image from my camera folder that will not attach.
Very strange.

When I select attach file I get this

If i select photos & video I'm presented with this screen.

If i select one of those images shown I can attach it. If I choose photos at the top it takes me to my photos folder where i can select an image but that is when it will load here but not give the option to attach it.
I hope this makes sense. I'm not always good at explaining things.

When you go through this way, it attaches a thumbnail unless you click the "Insert" and then pick "Full Image" or whatever the option is. I've always used that when my photos aren't working.

Tried that. Also tried different browser (Edge) and tried logging out/in. May try a non-chrome-based browser in a few minutes but I don't think the issue is local. I think it is either at cloud provider or server. Also tried several different jpegs of different sizes. I'm pretty sure very low resolution or highly compressed images would get through before the timeout happens.
