Hello fellow fish keepers, my name is Caleb I’m located in central Texas and I have 1 saltwater tank and 3 freshwater. I’ve been into freshwater for the past 4+ years. Finally last October I decided to start my saltwater tank after gaining some knowledge working in water quality. Any tips/advice will always be welcomed. I hope to grow, gain knowledge, and hopefully share some of my experiences on this forum

Currently living in my tank
- 2 PJ cardinalfish
- 1firefish
- coral banded shrimp
- 4 Haitian anemones (not sure on specific names)
-a plethora of nerite, and Cerith snails

Welcome :) :) !! I know this is an intro post but you asked for tips and suggestions lol. I would remove the air stone and just point the powerhead at the surface. The bubbles will cause a huge amount of salt creep and really aren't needed. Also, what type of lighting are you using? The anemones look pretty bleached and are tough to keep alive in new tanks unfortunately. Just trying to point you in the right direction :-)

Done, and done. The anemones are brand new I just got them from petco over the weekend and I’m using the Fluval AquaSky lighting on full blast for daytime

Welcome to the community Caleb and fellow Texan! I had never heard of a Haitian anemone before! I think there might be a central texas reef club in the club section, if you want to check it out and see if you have anyone near you (or maybe be lucky enough to have some frag swaps you can go to!)
