My name is Zoie and I recently graduated high school. I've always been really into aquariums in general and have had good experience with planted freshwater tanks. I really can't wait to be able to start a reef tank in the future, and eventually id love to have a 300 gallon mixed reef tank.

I know I have to begin somewhere and amidst all of what I've read on other forums and seen from YouTube, I have a grasp on the basics but I need the hands-on experience. I have very limited space at the moment so it's not really doable for me right now. If it's ok with guys I'd like to post my potential stocking ideas for the future and get some feedback and continue to learn more about this hobby :)

Welcome to R2R Zoie;)

Hey there Zoie, welcome to R2R. Phoenix native here and always ready with a helping hand. I started getting into reefs right out of highschool and was shocked at some of the costs, and even a few years later I still am haha. If youre super interested and only have a little bit of space, I have an IM Nuvo Fusion 10 I could possibly part with, also a standard 10 and 5.5 I will give you for free.

I cant wait to see another locals tank and see your venture into the hobby!

Welcome Zoie from Flagstaff. Let me know if you ever need a hand or have questions. Once you get going I could help you out with some free frags if you're ever in my neck of the woods. I frequent the valley often so I could even meet up with you to pass on some starter frags.

Oh wow thank you everyone for all the positive responses, to those also from Arizona, I'd love to eventually take you up on those offers!

I certainly wasn't expecting any responses from locals! I live near mesa. How much would you want for the nuvo possibly?

Welcome to R2R and the hobby! There's a lot of good information here in the stickies, and feel free to post with any questions you have along the way :)

Lots of good stores over near Mesa, some of my personal favorites to be fair though, and send me a DM with an offer! It is currently still up and running so I would need some time to break it down and clean it for ya.

Welcome to the best forum r2r. I just started 3 weeks ago it's a lil bit pricy but that just gives you even more of a passion to research and pull off what ever you may desire good luck and look forward to the updates. Safe reef keeping.

Hello, And Welcome. Lots of cool Builds that you can follow and get information from.
