@Ann_Paden How do you like the Smart ATO? If you had to replace would you go with something else or get another one? Also, is it slow enough to dose Kalkwasser with it?

I LOVE my Smart ATO, I've never had any issues with it. The ONLY thing I don't like about it is that it needs to be mounted onto clear glass so I had to scrape a piece of the black vinyl off the back of the tank so it could "sense" the water line. I've been wanting to do Kalk for quite some time but for some reason my Cal doesn't drop nearly as fast as my Alk does so right now I'm just manually dosing my 2 part. I wanna say for the 10 gallon tanks (if you put the ATO in the return chamber) by the time the ATO senses it needs to be filled it pumps in about 3 oz of water.

Oh and Aquasmart is coming out with a Nano version so it may be more precise, could be worth waiting for.

I'm leaning towards Tunze Nano right now. I doubt I'll have the patience to wait for the Aquasmart Nano.

That's the other I would have gotten besides the Aquasmart, but the price was the ultimate deciding factor for me.

Question on your nano box I just got one and the fan is running 24/7 is that normal ..

I'm going to be real honest and say that I havent ever really noticed. I dont think mine runs 24/7 though, I'll double check tonight after the lights are scheduled to go off and I'll let you know.

Hi @Steven8088 I checked last night and yes mine runs all the time. I believe (depending on which controller it is) that some models have the adjustable fan.
