I can’t get my ephsoon power flow 800 to start the pump does it’s job but I can’t get the overflow to catch the water my sump is feeling up with water but that’s it I’m doing something wrong help my stomach hurt from accidentally keep drinking this salt water trying to siphon this dang water

First, spit out any water you accidentally get in your mouth (you could alternatively use a pump).

How are you attempting to start the siphon? Pics? The water level has to be sufficient to reach the overflow. The bottom of the U tube must be submerged in the black portion of the overflow . Usually a piece of airline routed to reach the top of the U can be used to start a siphon if the other conditions are met.

Is your pump adjustable?

What size is it?

Sounds like its a eshopps pf800 overflow with U tube?

Best way to start the siphon is to use an airline pushed into the tube and suck. It should have a full siphon even with no pump running. You need a siphon break in your return line too when the power is off so it doesnt drain the tank.
