Hi everyone , this is my first post.
Yesterday this orange sponge/coral or whatever it is appeared on my coral.
Today theirs a white slime in my coral and this orange thing has now moved up into a cave in my rockscape.
Does anyone have any ideas on what it is please and should I remove it in case it’s toxic etc

Thanks in advance

First time I seen it was on Saturday and it was on my big coral on the bottom of the tank.
Sunday it moved up to my rock scape in the picture and it’s still there.
It’s also created that white patch on my coral on the bottom of the tank and appears to have left a white slime on it

It’s definitely moving around as it’s changed position slightly too

It’s a nudibranch.
I’m quite sure it is Tritoniopsis elegans.
They feed on leather corals.
Oh really.
It needs to come out then as I also have a leather toadstool type coral.
Where could it have came from?

The coral it has clearly fed on I bought roughly 7 weeks ago which came attached to a rock.

I bought my toadstool 4 weeks ago and never seen anything attached to it.

With its food of course.

I'm absolutely not surprised you didn't notice it. They hide very well and are camouflaged when on/in its food.

That would explain that then mate , I’ll be removing it from my tank.
Are they ok to grab and remove or can they release toxins into the water?
Hopefully my coral recovers.
This now explains what happened to my other toadstool , slowly dying and appeared to be rotting away at the stem with like a white slime on it , clearly this thing has been eating it

I knew it was a nudibranch. Idk about toxicity. Some are toxic, some aren't. But be careful. Use tweezers or/and bait to catch it and immediately contain it. I've heard they can be really dangerous.
It’s went into hiding at the moment , I’ll keep lights off and catch it when it comes out with my tweezers mate

So another update.
I removed those other creatures/slugs.
Kept the light off tonight then got the torch out , seen this slug type creature which appears to be feeding off the algae , anyone identify it?
Also theirs dozens of these little creatures which appear to be feeding off the sand , got brown algae/diatoms on the sand surface.
Can anyone identify them please and should I do anything about them?
Thanks

The dark thing in the first and fourth photo might be a Stomatella snail, which is a keeper. I can’t see anything in the second and third, unless the snail has burrowed into the sand?

Most of my Stomatella are light coloured, but I do have a few black ones.

Excellent cheers mate , I tried to upload a video but it won’t upload.
The other photos are of what I think might be brine shrimp feeding mate but wanted to check , the small thin brown things on those photos are them but they’re not the best photos

Here is a black Stomattela. If anyone thinks this snail isn’t a Stomatella or is a bad one, please let me know.
