Help! Irritated Torch!

I have just added some pH stabiliser Marine Buffer to my tank, and I thought i'd dissolved all if it, but a salt crystal landed directly on my torch and it immediately curled up and thick white mucus is coming out of it in reaction to the irritation. The buffer powder is salts of sodium, magnesiumm, calcium, strontium and potassium.

Is there anything I can do to save the Torch?

It went from fully open to completely closed in about 10 seconds with white mucus coming out! see pic attached
