I need some help picking out a nano skimmer for the jbj 45 rimless flat panel tank. Here are the 2 choices i have come up with:

CAD Lights PLS-50 Elite Nano Pipeless Protein Skimmer

Tunze Comline DOC Skimmer 9004

other suggestions welcome. any pros or cons to either one? I am leaning toward the CAD Lights PLS-50

I have the Tunze 9004 on that same tank. I run it in the second chamber (fits fine there). I can say it ran quiet out of the box and skims well.

The CAD Lights PLS-50 Elite Nano Pipeless Protein Skimmer just looks a little bigger and looks like it would skim more? I dont want to make a $150 mistake..

The tunze sits level with the back chambers. The cad light will sit higher. I am leaning more towards the cad light as it looks like a mini skimmer.

@NY_Caveman can you post pics on how it sits in the chamber?

I just left for work. I do not have a picture handy on my phone. As @Xclusive Reef says, it sits just about exactly flush with the top of the tank and I do not see it from the front unless I am standing right at the tank. Really a perfect fit.
