Help on choosing a Jebao wavemaker

HI all, I need a wavemaker for my 110g 5' long tank. My idea is to place 1 wave maker in pulse mode in counter-flow with filter return to make some turbulence. Wavemaker will be in opposite side on filter return.
I'm looking at Jebao but there are so many models on amazon and I'm kind of lost.
What would be right one for my tank?

It is somewhat difficult to keep up with all the jebao models as it seems like they release a new one every year. For the most part, they all function in a similar manner. From what I understand, the latest models are the ow and sow series. I've had some good luck with the older pp series, and just ordered a pair of the sow series. Keep in mind these are cheap powerheads and you need to be realistic about expectations in regards to reliability.

You will have to decide how much flow you need in order to determine what size pumps to buy. They are strong and move a good bit of water. I had a pair of pp4's in my 40 breeder tank. I am putting a pair of sow8's in my 4ft 100g tank. I feel like they will be more than enough flow. Hope this helps.

What about the Uniclife brand? I guess its same manufacturer as Jebao but different branding...

I believe the latest Jebao wave makers are the SDW series which are kind of a copy of the vortechs but no wet/dry side, it's still fully in the water. Also check out the SLW series which are a copy of the nero 5's, I just picked up two of these (SLW-30) for my cube tank. They are very quiet and have a pretty wide flow.

Jebao also make gyre type wave makers as well which are the CP series may be worth considering those too.

I have a 6 foot tank and the sow 20 moves water quite well.

SOW-20, especially being the sole wavemaker. You need something that will reach the other end of the tank and that will do it.

A couple pp20’s would probably work, depending on how much flow you want. I have 2 pp8’s and a pp20 in my 90g.

What about usa current. Chewy has them on sale close to our cheaper than jebao right now. Just a thought. Love mine just got it today.

The largest usa current has would be plenty big enough and for 105 about the same as jebao.
