Hi! Just got some ICP test results and was wondering if someone can help me in the right direction.

Question 1) Last ICP in January reads low Iodine. I dosed this up to recommended values and did send a new test this week with same lack of iodine. Is it normal that iodine has a big usage like this?

Question 2) I am struggling with dinos or Cyano. But I see the ration between NO3 and PO4 is pretty unbalanced. How does I balanced them and stabilise them? I have tried to raise the N but the P does always follow.

Question 3) PO4/Iodine is way off. Could this be the cause of some lack of colours and the algae problem?

Question 4) What does the KH set point means as it’s way over the ideal values?

Thanks in advance. The pictures is attached between the questions. Hope Randy or some others can answering those questions.

Question 1 & 3:
Iodine is consumed at a fast rate in reef tanks by all, it needs to be dosed daily to weekly to keep it stable.

PO4 is related to colours, it helps! Iodine not so sure about it.

I doubt low iodine is impacting color and is not boosting algae. But it is easy to dose more frequently as see if it is useful for you.

I cannot tell what the actual alk is. It is likely fine.

Nitrate and phosphate are fine. I don’t agree with all this ratio stuff.
