Hey guys. Posted in another post about QT'ing these corals. Figured I'd also post about identifying the exact corals or names. I know three are a species of Montipora and one is a candy cane. Just looking for specifics please. Also; ideal placement for each would be fantastic! Thanks guys.

#1 may be an epic chaos. Does it look similar to this in the tank?

Yours looks to be acropora sarmentosa. The OP's first pic is definitely a montipora. That's a nice piece you have there @marktea. That should color up nicely.

Thanks guys. I'll post pics under some lights after I get home. They're not going in my tank because I'm going to QT them because the tank they came from I believe had ich.

This is the best I can get right now. I'm working on getting my QT set up right now for them. The candy can got sucked into the powerhead I had in the bucket last night as temporary thing. Now the large bright pieces of it look dead or damaged. Don't know if it'll make it.

Any tips on mounting that Spongodes Montipora so that it stands up? On something other than a Frag plug since I don't have a rack? Would gluing it onto a piece of liverock be alright?
