Hello. I’ve lurked around these forums for years, and finally registered.
I’ve worked professionally with reef aquariums for 25 years (yikes); consultation, design, installation, husbandry. It can be a challenging gig, as you might imagine, but it’s an awesome gig as well.
Over the years, I’ve been very fortunate to work on some awesome tanks, and to do some projects with many of the people you’ve all heard of. Along the way, I’ve seen a little bit of everything...some great tanks and amazing outcomes, and some total disasters.
In addition to the reef tank biz, I’m also a high school biology (and sometimes, begrudgingly, chemistry) teacher, and these days the focus is more on education than on the reefs, but I do still keep that pretty active. I’m a big fan of the R2R forums...I learn a bunch of new stuff here all the time.
Looking forward to seeing more of what you guys are doing.
