Hi, my name is Garhett. I’m a college student, who is doing this reefing thing on a shoestring budget. I started in the fifth grade with my 16 biocube (honestly my parents did most of the work when I was young), when we moved I had to tear down my tank and leave the hobby for a bit, About a year ago I got back into reefing and set my cube back up. I currently have my 16 gallon biocube. (Pictures below) and a ten gallon split tank, which is split into a five gallon fresh water side and a five gallon saltwater side. Most of my equipment is used (or being thrown away). I work at a pet store (an awesome opportunity, to learn and teach) , which is how I get most of my corals and fish. I love find diy solutions to problems as well as the research portion of the hobby, and I welcome any information and experiences that anyone has.
