Hot swapping T5 bulbs

Has anyone ever swapped T5 bulbs while the fixture is plugged in but lights are off? I figure it’s ok because the circuit is off. I just don’t want to unplug to swap out some bulbs and redo the schedule. There’s no memory and it’s a pain trying to redo it.
