Obsessed newbie!!! I fondly remember my first aquarium. My first job was babysitting for a neighbor at 12 years old. When I received my first paycheck, the father asked me what I was going to do with it. I proudly straightened my 4'10 frame, held my head high and said "I'm going to buy me a fish tank!". He looked at me with a surprised look, telling me he had a 10 gallon tank in the backyard that he would give to me. After searching behind the barn, we found the tank under a tree full of green water. When we started to remove the green water, it was full of guppies and mollies of all sizes and kinds. I was hooked. Now I have 100 gallon tank which I converted from fresh water. I attempted a salt tank many years ago but was not successful but I will be successful with my mixed reef this time because I have all of ya'll to help. I do need a housekeeper & cook because I now don't want to do chores any more, The Tank is much more important & FUN!! So here we go on a wild ride in the world of reefers! :) Linda

Welcome aboard, Linda!

Sadly, you may not be able to afford the housekeeping staff . . . fish and corals can add up to a drain on the bank account. The balance in your soul, however, is topped up each time you gaze into the beauty you've created, or learn something new.

Welcome Linda to R2R. Look no further, for I'll be moving in tomorrow as your cook and housekeeper.. One note though, I don't do windows, including tank glass. :D

Please start a member's tank thread and tell us about your mollies and guppies.

Again welcome ( I'll see you tomorrow).
