I currently have a 45gal reef with a red banded pistol and 2gobies. For some reason the other goby is not paired. I was wondering is it possible to house a tiger pistol. I have a spot perfect for it on opposite side of tank where the solo goby is

From my experience, my answer is yes.

I have a 46gal with a red banded pistol (not paired) with orange spot goby. Later added yellow watchman goby and tiger pistol (paired with YWG) and everyone gets along, albeit they are on opposite end of tank.

Good luck.

My orange spot goby tried many times to pair with the red banded pistol but the shrimp doesn't want the companionship. So they have caves within 4 inches of each other and the goby stand watch from afar.

As for the YWG and tiger (paired at store) they have an open relationship. They occupy caves throughout the tank and some days they share a cave and other days come out at different locations no where near each other.

mine paired after 6 days. The watchman tried a day 1 and 2. Then my annoying pistol somehow got stuck in filtration. Then it went to first hole it can find which is where my orange spot is. Then they paired after 1 day. Ez. Now I can see them everyday

We had two separate pairs of Hi-Fin Banded goby and Red Banded Pistol shrimp at opposite ends of the tank. When I had to move everything out for the rebuild, one shrimp got hurt and died :(, one couldn't be found and one goby couldn't be found.
Two days later the missing pistol shrimp made an appearance in one holding tank and BOTH gobies popped out of the rock in the other tank - sharing a hole. They seem very buddy buddy. These shrimp/goby partnerships are one of my favorite parts of the hobby.

feels bad. My watchman is missing. I hope it's its hiding behind the filter

I have 5 pistol shrimp and mud shrimp all co existing peacefullyin a 125 gallon. One of my pistols lives w/ the mud shrimp and my purple fireshrimp in the crazy tunnel system underneath the sand, (that I get to view from looking under the tank). Good luck w/ yours!
