I have heard that these corals can be quite toxic. Should I yank my toadstool or not. Lol I just reread that, Hilarious, I'm not changing it so there.

Personally, I'd say yank the toadstool. There, I said it.

On the other hand if you're running carbon you should probably be okay, how big is it?

i have a 75g tank and have 4 dif types of toads never had a prob but i do run carbon all the time tho. what kind of toad is it?

mine shed about every 2 or 3 weeks. good flow and a skimmer is the best way to go. my skimmer is also set to pull out wet skimmate

Its not that big and personally I'm not that in love with it. I'm not running carbon either, so I may just sell it.

Why should you yank it out? I love mine and it's huge, I have neve heard they are toxic....... If you frag them will they secret toxins if you do this?

I run a completely filterless system with leathers and have never had an issue with any of my other more sensitive corals. leave it imo.
