How much should i sell an orange frogspawn for?

Hello reefers! I have an orange frogspawn that i picked up from a fellow reefer in exchange for a BTA of mine, it is in the process of splitting heads, so it has 4 individual, and 1 that is almost completely split. does anyone know what price it would be worth?

Why not let it grow into a colony? Did you get into the hobby to make money, or have a glorious reef tank?

I got in for the tanks, but im just not enjoying this piece as much as i thought i would. I like the look of hammers and torches much more than i do frogspawn.

100-180 a head are prices i have seen.
140 about the average. If selling singularly.

If selling as a colony, maybe $350?

Really depends on how vibrant the orange is tbh.
Some oranges glow a little under actinics but look brown in most other tanks: less vibrant orange more like the average frogspawn prices these days of 50-60 a head.
Selling as awhole slightly cheaper than its parts.
Id make sure to post several different pictures and different lightings, if selling on line.

He’s a pretty great orange, and the branches have a cool green hue to them. Really is a nice piece but i think that this specific one doesn’t fit the tank quite right.

Those prices are the inflated prices from lfs. You’ll never get that selling it yourself.

I didnt think id get even near that much lol, i was thinking maybe like$100-150 max, but idk much about pricing lol. Guy also gave me a great deal on a trachy he wasnt keepi g well tho, and i love him! He’s a work in progress to get healthy lol.
