I recently got this frag in and it has what I think is ether Hydroids or Clove polyps on it. What do you think and should I get rid of them?

Yup, cloves. Hydroids skirts are much smaller and thinner, where cloves are much more pronounced as in your pic. Here is a hydroid pic:

They really are pretty little things. I have several small colonies of the blue variety of them and they don't seem to be an issue or sting anything.

I just noticed that they disappeared, I am thinking they didn't like the flow too much, the frag was by my MP40.

get rid of them.contrary to what some think, they become very invasive.my entire 65 gal is coming down and all rock is being trashed because it took over my tank.it grows over everything and chokes out other corals.they have totally ruined my reef.
