Really nice tank Bruh! You awent all out! I love it : )

Thank you! You have a beautiful tank as well! People grow much more beautiful tanks with far less. This upgrade I saved and went all in, it also has to be as reliable as possible as I’m using traveling at least 2 weeks out of the month.

Good news- Straton’s shipped today

Bad news- I’m flying for two weeks for work.

I’ll try and get some photos from the wife when they arrive

Got the ecotech RMS hung from the ceiling, that was a blast with 15’ ceilings. Need to level it still and pull the old lights down. Came up with a mounting solution for the Straton’s. I will still say that I’m not a big fan of the mounting at all.

Got all 4 hung, started with LPS and had to lower 2 of the 4 lights using the group. Torches were seeing 330 PAR on the bottom where lights intersect. Have to cut all the hanging wires and even them out-

Do you feel the Stratons are too flat, like T5s or have just the right amount of shimmer? It looks great!

I'm happy with the shimmer, just right for me and better than the radions. I also do not care for kessil shimmer.

Picked up a couple MP60’s today from the LFS to replace the ReefWaves. Will have 2 MP60’s and 4 MP40’s now. I’ll keep 2 on the bottom sides for detritus, 2 on the back, and 60’s high on the sides

I was bored today so decided to overhaul the RODI system-

1 chloramine monster-
1 sediment filter
4 carbon blocks
2 stages of cation
2 stages of anion
2 stages of mixed bed
Also added-
150 GPD water saver
Auto flush kit
XTA marriage saver
Added a triple TDS meter just for the source and RO along with an existing dual TDS for DI

I will dress in all the lines tomorrow

Nice! I’ve got my chloramine monster after the carbon blocks. I change my carbon blocks regularly, and I would rather have the carbon blocks protect the lifespan of the chloramine monster than the reverse.

I though it about it both ways, ended up switching it to your way
