I added more live sand into my cycled tank, did I mess up?

My tank is about 2 months old and went through the cycling process. I needed more live sand so I decided to add the same caribsea live sand. I read the directions and it said gently mixed the old sand with the new. I noticed this morning my ammonia is at 0.25 ppm, normally it's at 0. Did I mess up by adding new sand and possibly killing my old bacteria?

Doubt it what test kit did you use? API always shows .25ppm for whatever reason

API test kit, Seachem ammonia indicator also shows as alert.

Probably just a small cycle shouldn't hurt a thing.
