I have 2 zebra dartfish that seem to be doing great. they've been in there a week, but I rarely see them. I'm really wanting to add a wrasse. I'm wanting something peaceful and ~4". It's a 50g cube. I've been leaning towards Halichoeres.

Pink streaked are nice but more cryptic. Tend to hang around rock work. More timid.

I’m enjoying my Blue star leopard wrasse so far. Beautiful and full of personality for a fish.

The leopard wrasses are considered an expert level fish due to the difficulties in transferring them over from live food only to frozen foods...keep that in mind if the leopard isn't already been converted/trained to eat frozen/dead/pellet foods.

I got one from Petco online and it was just as beautiful but had pooped in the bag and died soon. Luckily they refunded me. That same weekend I walked into an LFS and she had just come in. Was out and eating just looking at me. I jumped at the opportunity! She’s been fun, it’s taken some weeks for her to get on a my schedule. Was at first only awake and out of the sand from 7am-4pm so I was only getting To feed before work. Now she’s adjusted and is out around 9am and to bed around 8pm. Eating pellets and anything in sight at this point. Plan to add her to my main display soon, maybe this weekend. Just adjusting salinity up from QT very slowly. Think I’m at 1.024 now.

I would recommend you look into different species of leopard, exquisite and fairy

Curious what you guys would recommend for a 20 Gallon as for wrasse. I like that they eat pests and keep the tank clean. Also I like how active they are. I’d prefer if I could get them on frozen. I thought about the six line but I hear they can be a bully to other fish.

You should see my pair - they are in no way timid, and that’s always been the case with the ones I keep. They’re timid for maybe the first 3 weeks, but they’re then out and about begging for food within the 4th week.
