So I got the reactor setup today and when I turned it on the cuprisorb tumbled for a few then started getting sent down the output tube (the particles it appears are too small even for the filter floss / plastic piece they have on each end of the reactor media. Is there any issue with it sitting in the output tube for now just to remove the copper or should I remove it all then place a bagged version of cuprisorb in? o_O

@joro It should have come with a valve to let you adjust the flow. If its going thru the output, it's cranked up too high.

It does and what I did in the interim is place the sealed bag of the Cupramine - which treats up to 60G - in the reactor and it seems to be working perfectly. In just about 3 hours, the level was already 1/2 of what it was (down to 1.0 from 2.0 ppm). Once the copper is down to 0, I'll likely run a little carbon you suggested (ROX 0.8) while they are being observed. Appreciate the tips, I'm new on the reactor front ;)

I would observe for at least a couple of weeks to be sure. You can deworm (using Prazipro) during this time, if you haven't done so already.

Can you run Prazipro during the same time as running CopperSafe?

Yes, but it is not optimal to do so because of the risk of a bacterial bloom (cloudy water) occurring. If you mix them, provide extra O2 (airstone running full blast or powerhead pointed towards the surface) to compensate.

Ok. Thanks. I'll probably just wait until copper treatment is over. Got two more weeks.
