To be honest, not even sure these are SPS (I’m still relatively new to corals in general). I’m just guessing based on the fact that polyps appear to be small, and structure appears to be stoney ‍♂️

Finally got my wife interested in the tank, and her errands brought her close to the LFS, and she brought these two home. I like the colors, but have no idea what they are, so I don’t know where to start as far as placement for lighting or flow…

Please move to another section if needed, and thanks in advance!

Yeah second looks like a nps sun coral

Nps = non photsythetic meaning no light so need regulary feeding

Edit: here below is little article on how to care for nps sun corals and general info.would probably be best of did little homework on it and how to care for it.some say cut top off a pop bottle and place it over the coral at feeding times so the nps coral has time to feed without fish or shrimps stealing the food from it etc etc.
I believe most nps corals in the oceans live at entrance to dark caves as need no light so need get food from the water column so at entrance to cave is more turbulent waters and as the waters ruah in they grab food from water etc.

Im new to saltwater but what i find usefull is knowing what kind of corals i want in my tank and do research on feeding/flow/light and any knowledge needed before i go to the lfs and pick the employess brains about the coral i want or will be buying whilst im there,or if see a nice coral while im there then do quick google search and get information before buying so i know exactly how to care for it when get home, and what dip is recommended for which corals ( i.e certain corals more prone to certain pests and some dips better or specialise in killing certain pests) this what im doing and will continue to do anyway as want less stress/less deaths/more enjoyment as possible from my tank.

2 nice looking corals,good luck ^_^

Thank you everyone for the quick responses! Looks like the sun coral requires a lot of feeding as an NPS. Worth it if it keeps the wifey interested!
