It's been baking for about a year, started as a brown nubbin. started to take off once I gave it some decent light.

Coralites seem a bit close for Icefire Echinata ?

I can't say with any confidence.

But I can tell you my big blue aussie echinata I recently purchased is budding tiny side polyps all over those long single coralites. I assume it's due to high flow, so I wouldn't use that as a deciding factor, especially not on such a small piece.

it is being smashed by flow. The coralites have recently started forming, few weeks back it was just a solid stem out like the original echinata.

oh well, we'll see. now to wait another year, **** slowest growing tenius ever.
