Looks like sone sort of coco worm?
When I flash the light then take it away it closes up, like a clam would do.

looks like a basic feather duster to me. a coco worm tends to have vivid colors IME

Ok feather duster, are they bad? Thats in my over flow under the cheato i placed in there.

yup, a filter feeder. its good. itll actually assist in filtering the small particles of food and such out of your water column.
