Brittle star, good scavenger to have... some folks claim they kill fish, I have never had one that did...

R2R is the reason for my Insomia
That's deffently a bristle.
They rarely kill fish, if they do it's because they are starved. You will know if they were going to do this because they will stand up on their rays (legs) and "hover" as to drop down on a slow moving fish under them.
It's prolly over kill but I make sure mine gets a whole krill or 1/4 silverside every couple of weeks along with aiming some mysis at (2 or 3) when I feed my fish/corals every 3rd day.
They can also preform this manuver when ever they spawn. You'll know if that's happening...

Ok thanks! I have 2 or 3 in the tank but don't have any problems with them!
