Cool idea, my only thought is that rockpools and tidal area's do smell a fair bit, so your going to need some good ventilation in the room.
Really the only smell in rockpools is from rotting macro algae, tidal areas dont smell at all from my experience

Maybe depends on how long they are out of the water.
Some beaches I go to, they can be out of the water for a good 4-6 hours under the hot sun, can get smelly, especially when seaweed and plants start drying out.

So since it already needs a extra sump/tank, it automatically makes more space for a refugium with tides opposite to those in the display, this is just a thought that made me wanna try to put the 100cm x 45cm x 45cm tank as refugium and make a custom shallow tank as display, what do you think? It will make display cooler and maybe the 100cm one could have not that big tidal fluctuations to effect as frag tank type of some sort as display will be smaller, what do you think, any opinion is welcome

It all depends on your goals, space and budget. Anything is possible.

2 tidal displays opposite sides of the world with opposing high and low tide.

Or

1 large display with a tidal zone and reef ledge that stays deep

Or

A large display with a beached atoll in the center...

Or

mangrove swamp in the tidal zone.

Space -- budget -- imagination.

As mentioned above tidal zones are going to smell one way or the other as fauna is exposed to air for part of the tidal cycles. There really is no way around this. The extent of the odor... well that is hard to guess at.
