this plug has been in since early March, and this is the first time I’m noticing whatever this thing is. It’s hard to see but it’s got little tenticles

Is it a green BTA or a RBTA? I've seen tiny RBTA about the size of a nickel but they didn't look that happy and were definitely red. I agree that it's likely aiptasia though.
