Identifying a few SPS

Anyone know the names of these SPS corals?

The only way to identify a coral is to use Veron's "Coral ID" software. It involves a microscopic exam of the skeleton. Even then, Veron warns of morph chances in aquaria. Hopefully someone ID'd this coral from an original colony and shared this info.

Can’t just take a look at pictures and say, hey, that looks like XYZ coral?

If you have better photos, you can get a better guess.

I have no idea about #1. #2 could be A. Microclados, but again would need a more clear photo. #3 and #4 are stags of some sort, but most people do go too far to identify these and just call them stags.

If you are looking for trade names, then they don't have any if they did not come with any lineage from whomever you purchased them from.

2 bears a resemblance to a Miami Orchid from ORA.

Small world, I actually got 2, 3, & 4 from you when we traded last year for the blue jaw trigger on masc. Are these no name corals? Or do you remember what they are?

Like Dana said no way to tell for sure, but it’s always fun to guess. Stuff defiantly changes in certain aquariums but it doesn’t stop me from trying to put a species name on it. Especially with all these trade names everywhere, before we know it no one will be using species labels.
