Just replaced my Ecotech L1 with Neptune’s cor20. Cor20 moves same water, lesS watts, and is more quite. Never mind the benefits haveing it connected to apex.

Hygger 24V DC. I'm not going to debate why or try to convince people how good it is but it's been on my tank for over a year and the only reason I can tell it's running is flow. I cleaned it once and that was a waste of time. I bought two (rule of thumb for me) and the other is collecting dust.

At this point in time I won't use anything else.

P.S. The heaters are great also.

LOL... I'd probably replace it with the identical spare I keep in the storage cabinet next to the spare heater, spare power head and spare skimmer pump).

I would replace with what I have now, Rio Plus 2500. All 4 of mine have been running for 4-5 years without any issues. I stop and start them daily for feeding.

Vario-S on lower end or Abyzz on higher end.

They were 20% off during black friday week. I am proud I didn't fold to marketing this year and go for another one.

Perhaps when the setup is more complete next year and/if I need even more flow.

I have Vectra L1 and Vectra M1 in my 180-gallon display reef. M2 failed and going to replace it with a Neptune Cor 20.

Definitely id be getting another external pump like little giant, blueline, iwaki, or panworld. Why? I like things external and not in my tank. That way theres little to no chance for electricity in the water or metals from electric cords or magnets rusting.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
