Haven't been around in a while. Started my first mixed reef tank in a biocube 29 about 10 years ago. While out on vacation something happened and I lost everything. Fast forward a couple years and I decided on a 125. I made the mistake of using the live rock I had left in the neglected biocube. Battled an ongoing algae problem in that tank and called it quits.

The wife surprised me with a new tank for Christmas. Hopefully with the lessons I've learned in the past, I'll have better luck this time. It's an IM nuvo dropoff. Running a dual head peristaltic pump for daily auto water change, spectrapure ato, spectrapure dual media reactor, and a ghl doser2 for down the road. Ai prime hd will be here tomorrow.

Just getting going, probably won't have much more to post for a while.

Slow and steady wins the race. Build up your beneficial bacteria and make new additions slowly. Monitor your parameters closely, and if they begin to change with new tank additions than hold off on further additions until things stabilize. Happy Holidays!

I really like the programmability of this. Im pretty much all automated now without the need of an apex.

Very cool little tank, I am jealous. You did a nice job with the scape.

Ran my dosing and water change lines. Added a finnex hob fuge. Clean up crew going in today, and also bought an apex that'll take me a month to figure out how to program.

Have you been able to get this working? I bought one for my biocube and couldn't get it to change the programming after I made an initial selection. Aquamai said they were aware of the problem and offered to let me be part of the beta testing for the patch but then I never heard from them again. I finally gave up and bought a Jebao pp4.

Been working perfectly for me, I have no problem changing settings.
