Word from one of my suppliers overnight that the suspension will be lifted. When I pressed for details their response was that they couldn't share anything now. When asked if regulations were expected to change significantly the answer was yes. So, not sure what this means or if it's anything beyond speculation. Many other suppliers there have said no progress or any hints of change in the situation. The guys at the farm I've shown in the pics in this thread have said they are seriously depressed and see the situation as an endless battle. As soon as any real news is available i'll post it here.

Thank you very much for sharing all of this with us.

I have an off topic question.
What are the black "frames" that the corals are sitting on made of? They look like wood.

Good opportunity for the likes of East Timor - exactly the same waters/species as Indonesia, but its own nation.
Somewhat surprising that there isn't more Philippine stock on the market.

New Caledonia - 2nd (?) largest barrier reef in the Pacific if not the world - and as an administrative part of France, would face minimal import barriers into the EU (since it is a member).
French Tahiti could function similarly for the Western Hemisphere

Is SPS the only thing grown on the farms or is it just this farm specializes in SPS?

Most farms grow everything. Sps just grow fast and tends to look very impressive color wise. Difficult to keep those vibrant colors in captivity.
